She has also edited the writings of Rosina Bulwer Lytton and her mother Anna Wheeler and has recently produced a scholarly edition of The Collected Letters of Rosina Bulwer Lytton for Pickering and Chatto.

Now working as an editorial consultant to publishers and writers, she is also researching and writing a historical biography. All participants in the workshop are requested to bring a small contribution to the day, from any discipline, written out with about 30 photocopies to pass around.  This could be something which could take from one to five minutes to present to the group, on any aspect of the theme Mothers and Daughters.  The contribution could be a question of an issue for discussion, a brief summary of a recent book or article on the workshop's topic, a brief case history, a brief summary of a relevant text (visual or verbal) from the period, a relevant extract from a text, etc.  Participants do not necessarily have to be working in this field - just interested and curious.

Sarah Oliver is the contact for any queries, comments and suggestions.
